Every website is different and Children Board Games is too, but we have adopted the same familiar search as other major sites and Search Engines to make your life a little bit easier.
Basic Searching
- All search terms are matched against toy names, descriptions and the toy’s product code.
Try to keep search terms short and to the point like boy’s bike or Sponge Bob
You can search using more than one word. For example if you search for boy’s bike you will get that use those same words together in either the product title or its description.
Common words such as 'are' and 'is' as well as common words below 3 characters are automatically removed from your search terms, but can include them
Advanced Searching
- If you wish to search for a phrase, enclose it within "double quotes"
- The words 'and', 'or' and 'not' are special keywords used to join words.
- and specifies that both terms must be present in the results. So you could write boys and bike to ensure that you get results that have both of your search terms present.
- or specifies that either of the terms must be present in the results. If you search for boy’s or bikes you will get a list of results for boy’s combined with a list of results for bikes. So in this case you might get results for girl’s bikes or boy’s trainers.
- not specifies that the term must not be present in the search results. Let’s say you searched for boy’s bikes not girls. Your results will be for boy’s bikes and nothing should appear that features the word girls in its product title or description.
